Blended Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $61.00
Blended Weekly Gross Pay Rate: $2,196.00
Minimum Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $24.00
Min. W2 Weekly Gross (Taxable): $864.00
Weekly Stipend (Non-Taxable): $1,332.00

Pay Rate on 1099 to the Candidate: $63.00
Weekly 1099 Traveler Pay Rate: $2,268.00
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Outpatient Surgery team in Oklahoma City, OK for a 13-week contract assignment. This position offers a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients before, during, and after their surgical procedures. The RN will collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for patients in an outpatient setting. This role requires strong clinical skills, effective communication with patients and their families, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Assumes responsibility for an assigned group of patients, ensuring safe and effective nursing care throughout the surgical process.
- Documentation: Accurately documents patient responses to nursing interventions, prescribed treatments, and changes in physician orders.
- Assisting Physicians: Assists physicians during patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures, ensuring proper support during surgeries.
- Monitoring: Obtains and monitors physiological data of patients, intervening as necessary to address any changes in condition.
- Medication Administration: Administers medications as prescribed, including intravenous infusions and blood products, while maintaining a high level of safety and accuracy.
- Family Communication: Shares care plans with patients and their families and provides clear instructions about hospital procedures and discharge.
- Delegation: Delegates tasks to support staff to ensure smooth patient care delivery.
- Referrals: Makes appropriate referrals to other healthcare providers when needed for comprehensive patient care.
Certifications & Requirements:
- Required Certifications:
- Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in nursing, preferably in outpatient surgery or a similar clinical setting.
- looking for candidate with surgical and procedural patient preparation preferred. Must have stepdown experience. . Having post mod sedation recovery experience is a plus. NOT an OR circulator
- Education:
- Required: Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher from an accredited nursing program.
