Overview
We are seeking a dedicated RN QA nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Long Term Care SNF services. Maintains clinical supervision of resident care on Skilled unit and QA programs
Duties
Daily rounding on residents on our high risk resident on SNF unit.
Monitoring and Ensuring Staff completes Documentation, Orders, Assessments, physician notifications.
Coordination, oversight and follow-up of resident care including: physician orders, labs, procedures, medications, equipment, supplies, etc.
Coordination of discharge planning including teaching of discharge instructions and arrangements.
QA implements and monitors the Restorative nursing and weight loss program
Reports, updates, and problem solves daily with the DON.
Compiles data for survey reports as requested.
When applicable, inputs data into computer on resident admissions.
Verify timely physician visits and appointments for residents as required.
Attend Q&A committee meetings and presents Q&A summary.
Attend mandatory in-services.
Attend department head meetings.
Additional delegated task as per the Director of Nurses (DON) discretion.
Qualifications
Previous experience in Long Term Care is required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
RN License
