Are you a skilled and adaptable Registered Nurse looking for a dynamic role where you can make a significant impact? Our healthcare system is seeking a dedicated RN to join our staffing pool. This is an exciting opportunity for nurses who thrive in varied environments and are eager to expand their clinical expertise across multiple units, including med/surg, neuro/ortho/peds, rehab, and cardiac care. You will play a crucial role in providing high-quality, compassionate care while growing your skills in a supportive and collaborative setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform nursing interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
- Accurately document patient care and monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions to the care team, physicians, patients, and their families.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as personal hygiene, nutrition, and ambulation.
- Collaborate with other disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, and referrals.
- Educate patients and families on their health needs in a way that is appropriate for their age, culture, and condition.
- Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of all patients.
Requirements
- A current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan.
- An associate degree in nursing from an accredited program is required, with a bachelor's degree preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
- One year of nursing experience is preferred.
