Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Robotics Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the programming, debug and installation of robotic systems used in our integrated automation projects. This role requires a strong understanding of robotics and automation technologies, as well as the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Configure and program robotic systems and components according to specifications.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve issues related to robotic operations.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement improvements in automation processes.
- Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings for system installations.
- Utilize SolidWorks and AutoCAD for design modifications and system enhancements.
- Work with distributed control systems to monitor and control robotic functions.
- Apply lean manufacturing principles to optimize production efficiency and reduce waste.
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, modifications, and repairs performed on robotic systems.
Skills
- · 3+ years of experience in industrial automation.
- Familiarity with robotics programming languages and software tools. Preferably Kawasaki Robotics.
- Ability to perform blueprint reading for effective installation and troubleshooting of systems.
- Familiarity with industry safety standards for automation equipment.
- Experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD for design purposes is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of distributed control systems used in automated environments.
- Strong analytical skills for effective root cause analysis in troubleshooting scenarios.
- Understanding of lean manufacturing concepts to enhance operational efficiency.
