Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all construction projects meet the highest standards of quality and safety. You will work closely with various teams on construction sites, performing inspections and assessments to maintain compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of construction materials and completed work to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to perform quality assessments.
- Collaborate with construction teams to identify areas for improvement in processes and materials.
- Document findings from inspections and communicate any discrepancies or issues to the project manager.
- Assist in construction estimating by providing feedback on material quality and project execution.
- Evaluate roofing, masonry, metal stud framing, stucco, and restoration work for adherence to quality standards.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on best practices in quality control within the construction industry.
Skills
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to construction tasks.
- Experience working on a construction site with knowledge of safety protocols.
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes is a plus.
- Understanding of roofing, masonry, metal stud framing, stucco applications, and restoration techniques.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent observational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and management regarding quality issues.
- Problem-solving skills to address discrepancies in material or workmanship promptly.

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
