Rotary Tablet Press Operator

Tablet Press Operator

We’re looking for an experienced tablet press operator to handle our small manufacturing operation. As a key member of our lean startup team, your responsibilities will include:

· Managing raw materials inventory

· Using a V-Blender to mix our powdered formulations

· Using a 17-station rotary tablet press to press those powders into tablets

· Using a horizontal fill-and-seal machine to package the tablets

· Clean and maintain all production equipment

· Troubleshoot and repair equipment when there is a problem

· Ensure all production schedules are met

· Implement and follow strict quality control standards

· Maintain all production areas and equipment in a safe, clean, and orderly manner

· Create and maintain SOPs and Best Practice protocols for our production department

· Follow GMP standards and all safety guidelines

· Maintain accurate record keeping, inventory management, job scheduling, QC, and budgeting

Your verifiable experience on should include:

· 3+ years of experience working with rotary tablet presses

· Experience with other production equipment, including V-blenders, ribbon blenders, and both horizontal and vertical packaging and sealing machines

· The mechanical aptitude to disassemble, fix, and rebuild each piece of equipment in our production department

· Experience with production management (inventory management, job scheduling, QC, budgeting)

Pay: From $57,000.00 per year
