Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Safety Manager to oversee and enhance our trucking with over 30 drivers and owner operators. The position directs the transportation safety management process and provides overall support and guidance to the regional, area and local transportation operations organizations
Responsibilities
- Monitor Driver qualification file and the hiring process
- Assuring DOT drug/alcohol programs is complain with regulation
- Work with maintenance vendors to assure PM compliance.
- Review accident file and manage to work with insurance company
- Provide monthly report containing appropriate metric
- Assure vehicle inspection hands on train is completed with every active driver
- This position will be responsible for the entire company safety system
Experience
- Strong knowledge of FMCSR & OSHA standards and workers compensation laws.
- Experience in trucking company
- Manage corporate commercial driver road testing programs.
- Organize or conduct internal self-audits
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $48,490.63 - $58,397.32 per year
