We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Smokeshop Sales Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, driving sales, and fostering genuine connections with our diverse clientele.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Engagement: Engage with customers in a friendly and approachable manner, assisting them with product inquiries, recommendations, and purchases. Build rapport and establish genuine connections to enhance the overall shopping experience.
- Sales Generation: Proactively approach customers to promote products and upsell based on their needs and preferences. Utilize product knowledge to effectively communicate features, benefits, and promotions to drive sales.
- Product Knowledge: Develop a thorough understanding of our product offerings, including various smoking accessories, vaporizers, and related merchandise. Stay updated on industry trends, new arrivals, and product specifications to provide accurate information to customers.
- Merchandising: Assist with merchandising tasks such as restocking shelves, arranging displays, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Ensure all products are properly labeled and priced for easy accessibility.
- Compliance: Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations governing the sale of tobacco and smoking-related products. Verify age and identification of customers in accordance with legal requirements.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and contribute to a positive work environment. Communicate effectively with colleagues and management regarding customer feedback, inventory levels, and any issues or concerns.
- Cash Handling: Process transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale (POS) systems. Handle cash, credit/debit cards, and other forms of payment securely and in accordance with company policies.

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
