Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our dynamic retail team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and sales, demonstrating excellent communication skills while providing an exceptional shopping experience. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for assisting customers, managing transactions, and maintaining the store's appearance.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and operating the cash register.
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and product features to effectively communicate with customers.
- Conduct product demonstrations to enhance customer understanding and engagement.
- Manage inventory by stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and ensuring the store is visually appealing.
- Utilize retail math skills to assist with inventory management and sales tracking.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Uphold phone etiquette when answering customer calls or inquiries regarding products or services.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail or sales is preferred but not required.
- Strong cash handling skills with experience using POS systems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
- Familiarity with retail math concepts is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- A positive attitude with a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
