Sales BDC Job Description:
The Huffines Business Development Representative is a technically savvy individual who understands computers, the internet, and other technologies and who can communicate in a clear efficient manner. The position is responsible for appointment setting and lead generation activities in support of the company’s sales department goals and providing courteous and efficient service to our customers.
Sales BDC Job Responsibilities:
- Making outbound and taking inbound calls to drive traffic for the sales or service department by setting appointments for prospective customers
- Updating and maintaining customer info in the designated software system
- Scheduling customers appointment
- Maintaining a prospect development system
- Ensuring protection of customer information by continually following Information security procedures
- Addressing customer concerns and issues or escalates as needed
- Coordinating questions and issues with the appropriate department personnel
- Directing customers to the appropriate department or point-of-contact
- Provides courteous and efficient electronic, phone, and face to face customer service assistance
- Taking ownership of each customer’s experience by immediately owning and resolving issues
- Other duties as assigned
Sales BDC Job Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED or relative work experience
- Available to work shifts between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills
- Must have moderate computer skill
- Effective time management skills
- Professional dress and behavior
- Friendly and customer service focused
- Able to multi-task and work under pressure
- Experience working with CRM systems (e.g., VinSolutions) is a plus
- Must have 2+ years of experience in the BDC Sales Automotive industry
