LayerX Security is searching for a Sales Engineer for a remote position in the US East Coast or Midwest region. We are seeking an experienced Sales Engineer with a proven track record in cyber security to bolster our vibrant team. As a Sales Engineer, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth by providing technical expertise and support to our sales team and customers. Responsibilities
- Serve as the main technical focal point for the sales organization, providing expert guidance and support on LayerX’s solution.
- Lead and manage proofs of concept (POCs) to demonstrate the effectiveness and value of the LayerX platform to prospective clients.
- Conduct technical demonstrations of the LayerX solution to prospects.
- Communicate effectively with product management to relay customer feedback, market trends, and feature requests, contributing to product roadmap discussions.
- Gather and analyze prospect or customer requirements to customize solutions and address specific business needs.
- Facilitate the smooth handover between pre-sales and post-sales teams, ensuring a seamless transition and alignment of customer expectations.
- Travel to Customer meetings, conferences, and company meetings is expected.
- Work with LayerX partners on their technical onboarding.
Requirements
- Minimum of three years of experience in sales engineering within the cyber security industry, preferably in startup or fast-paced environments.
- Strong familiarity with various aspects of cyber security, including data leakage protection, secure browsing, browser isolation, and access control.
- Proficiency in articulating technical concepts to technical audiences.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
Advantages:
