About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to lead and scale our sales operations across the U.S. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) sector, experienced in managing large, distributed sales teams, and passionate about driving results in dynamic, high-growth environments.
While this is a remote-first position, regular domestic travel is required for field visits, client meetings, and team management. Familiarity with modern sales tools, particularly CRM platforms and ERP systems like Odoo, is essential to ensure effective data-driven sales operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a high-performing, geographically dispersed sales team across multiple territories.
- Design and execute regional and national sales strategies to meet and exceed growth targets.
- Monitor sales performance using CRM tools and dashboards; analyze trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Provide hands-on coaching and support to team members, both remotely and during field visits.
- Maintain strong relationships with key retail and distribution partners in the FMCG space.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance to align sales strategies with company objectives.
- Use data and analytics to inform decision-making, improve team performance, and enhance customer experience.
- Oversee the adoption and effective use of CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) across the team.
- Ensure the team is proficient in using ERP tools like Odoo for inventory coordination, order tracking, and customer management.
Qualifications
- Must reside in the United States with the ability and willingness to travel up to 40–50%.
- Minimum 5+ years of sales experience, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership or team management role.
- Strong experience in the FMCG industry is required.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and scale large, remote sales teams.
- Proficiency in high-level CRM systems such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly Odoo, is a strong plus.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in competitive markets.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Data-driven, strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
