Compensation: $80,000 – $95,000 annually
Additional Compensation: Annual bonus + Company vehicle + Relocation assistance + Employer-funded contribution of 9% of annual salary
Overview:
We are seeking a results-driven Sales Representative with a background in ready-mix concrete and aggregates to join our team in Ventura, CA. The ideal candidate is bilingual in Spanish, has industry-specific sales experience, and is customer-focused with strong business acumen. This role offers significant growth potential for someone motivated and dependable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and decision-makers in the construction and materials sector.
- Maintain a pipeline of target and development accounts to drive both new business and account retention.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, pricing, and competitor activity.
- Prepare quotes and assist in submittal of mix design documentation with the quality control team.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams including plant operations, dispatch, credit, and management.
- Support marketing initiatives and represent the company at industry events and local business associations.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, reports, and expenses.
- Collaborate with the credit team to support timely collections.
- Share insights and collaborate with the broader sales team.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience, ideally within construction materials or a related industry.
- Strong communication skills in both English and Spanish.
- Proven ability to manage time effectively and maintain accurate records.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (past 5 years).
- High level of professionalism, reliability, and customer focus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, construction management, or related field.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and ERP tools like SAP.
- Experience working with public entities (city, county, or state agencies).
- Prior exposure to construction or manufacturing environments.
