Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sample Receiving Lab Technician to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environmental laboratory. The Sample Receiving Lab Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring that incoming Laboratory Samples are accurately and efficiently logged into our Laboratory Information Management System, and prepared for laboratory processing. This position requires a strong focus on accuracy and organization, as well as the ability to multi-task.
Responsibilities
- Inspect received samples for damage or discrepancies, and report any issues to Project Management.
- Accurately log-in/ manage samples received, utilizing our Laboratory Information Management System (will train).
- Adhere to safety and quality control protocols.
- Prepare samples for laboratory processing.
- Assist in preparing supplies for shipment.
- Ensure a clean and organized work area.
- Occasionally assist with Courier Support.
Experience
- Previous experience in a laboratory, warehouse, or distribution center setting is advantageous.
- Familiarity with operating computer inventory management systems is desirable, but not necessary.
Minimum Requirements
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing individual responsibilities.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a repeated basis.
- Standing for the majority of the shift. Constant bending, twisting and moving
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
