We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team in a fast-paced environment. As a Sandwich Maker, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality sandwiches and ensuring exceptional customer service. You will play a key role in maintaining food safety standards while providing delicious meals to our valued customers.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and company standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area, including equipment and utensils, to ensure food safety.
- Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately, including upselling menu items to enhance customer experience.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure the safety and quality of all food products.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
- Provide excellent customer service by helping customers with their orders and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
Skills
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations within the food industry.
- Experience in a quick service fast food restaurant is preferred but not required.
- Basic math skills for handling cash register transactions accurately.
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Strong attention to detail in food preparation and sanitation practices.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
- Previous experience in food service or food handling is a plus but not mandatory.

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
