Job Summary
The Scheduling Manager will provide guidance and oversight in the development and maintenance of CPM schedules. This role is responsible for a market sector and will have direct reports Schedulers who are tasked with providing site support to multiple projects. The Scheduling Manager provides leadership and mentorship and assists in reviewing and analyzing schedules and other work products developed and maintained by their team members. This role will assist in training and the development of training and procedural documents and will ensure compliance to industry standard practices and organizational policies. This position requires a minimum of ten (10) years of CPM scheduling experience with at least two (2) years in a supervisory role.
Key Responsibilities
- Provides leadership to a small, dedicated team of Schedulers
- Facilitates regular performance reviews with direct reports
- Provides guidance and mentorship to team members
- Ensures compliance to company departmental SOPs and internal procedures
- Assists teams in developing and maintaining schedules using industry standards and best practices
- Ensures schedule quality exceeds project requirements, and the site teams are adequately supported
- Coordinates with project teams to understand priorities and assigns support accordingly
- Ensures deliverables exceed requirements
Minimum Job Requirements
- Excellent Communication skills
- Proven leadership skills
- Understanding of mentorship practices
- Ten years or more of P6 CPM scheduling experience, preferably in advanced tech markets
- Proficient use in Microsoft Office Suite programs with focus on Excel
- Complete understanding of current scheduling concepts and best practices
- Thorough understanding of CPM scheduling methodologies
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment
