Profession: School Nurse LPN
Shift: Day 4x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:00)
Location: Lacey, WA 98516
Duration: 40 Weeks
Days: Monday to Friday
Note:
- Candidate must be local, residing within 50 miles of the School, Lacey, WA 98516.
- Work in the Health Room Daily
- The candidate has transportation
Duties:
- Monitor and manage students’ blood glucose levels using a Continuous Glucose Monitor and respond appropriately to alerts
- Administer insulin and other diabetes-related care as per the physician’s orders and individualized health plan
- Provide emergency interventions for hypoglycemia or hyperglycemia, including glucagon administration if required
- Track and document daily blood sugar readings, insulin doses, meals, and activity impacts
- Support the student’s social, emotional, and behavioral needs related to autism by following the Individualized Education Plan
- Implement behavior management strategies in collaboration with teachers, counselors, and support staff.

Pay: $41.34 - $43.81 per hour
Expected hours: 32 per week
