Elite Academy is seeking a dedicated and passionate Science and Math Teacher to join our teaching team. The primary responsibility of this role is to help students strengthen their understanding and performance in math and science subjects, while fostering critical thinking, problem-solving, and academic confidence. The ideal candidate will have experience working with K-12 students and a proven ability to inspire a love for learning.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging math and science lessons for K-12 students in small group or one-on-one settings.
- Develop and adapt curriculum to meet the specific needs and learning goals of each student.
- Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation.
- Provide targeted instruction to address students’ strengths and areas for improvement.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to enhance academic growth.
- Integrate technology, visual aids, and real-life applications to make learning interactive and relevant.
- Prepare students for school exams, standardized tests, and academic competitions when applicable.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Science, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Strong subject knowledge in math and/or science (algebra, geometry, calculus, biology, chemistry, physics, etc.).
- Experience teaching or tutoring K-12 students.
- Familiarity with current teaching strategies and resources for STEM education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt lessons for different learning styles and academic levels.
- Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in using technology and online platforms for instruction.
