Key Responsibilities
- Designs, executes, and interprets synthetic organic experiments with a high degree of reliability, independence, and attention to detail
- Proficient in application and utility of a variety of analytical tools (NMR, HPLC, LCMS, Biotage) to monitor and analyze experiments
- Generate effective hypotheses to pursue synthesis goals and set new experimental direction
- Multitask to execute multiple experiments in an efficient manner
- Develops novel and creative solutions to overcome synthetic and manufacturing obstacles
- Maintains accurate records of experiments and results in a laboratory notebook and authors reports as assigned
- Draft, review and submit required documentation pertaining to the development and preparation of drug substances under cGMP environment
- Be familiar with SOPs and GMPs and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and SOPs
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
- PhD with 0 – 3 years relevant synthetic chemistry experience or
- MS with over 2 – 6 years relevant synthetic chemistry experience or
- BS with over 2 – 10 years relevant synthetic chemistry experience
