We are currently hiring for the Screen Print Operator position. The hours for this position are Monday-Friday, from 7:00am - 3:30pm, NO NIGHTS, NO WEEKENDS.
We are looking for qualified and motivated individuals experienced in screen printing. The Screen Print Operator is responsible for carrying out the production process and ensuring orders are completed in a timely manner. Set up and operate screen printing equipment to produce high-quality printed products. The ideal candidate must have previous screen printing experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Take and understand work orders for screen printing jobs.
- Examine work orders to determine details including quantities to be printed, production timelines, and stock specifications.
- Handle screen preparation processes, such as screen selection, de-greasing, and film emulsion coating.
- Set-up and operate automatic screen-printing machines.
- Select, mix and modify ink to be used in machines.
- Perform quality checks throughout the print run and ensure that quantities have been verified.
- Set up and calibrate screen printing machines and equipment and ensure that any issues are identified and handle promptly.
- Perform both regular and preventative maintenance on screen printing machines to ensue that it works well throughout the shift.
- Maintain and clean and organized work environment.
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations
Job Requirements:
- Requires a highly organized, detail oriented, self-motivated individual who can work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Previous screen printing experience required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
