Job Overview:
We are currently seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Tax Preparers for the upcoming tax season. Whether you have experience or are eager to learn a new skill. Responsibilities:
- Accurately prepare and file federal and state tax returns for individuals or small businesses
- Review and organize financial documents (W-2s, 1099s, receipts, etc.) to determine deductions and credits
- Utilize tax software to input client data and ensure compliance with current tax laws and regulations
- Respond promptly to client questions and provide excellent customer service
- Identify potential tax savings and advise clients where appropriate
- Maintain confidentiality and data security of all client information
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in tax preparation, accounting, or a related field is a plus, but not required
- Strong math and data entry skills (10-key typing is a plus)
- Ability to analyze financial data and follow complex instructions
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Willingness to learn and complete training requirements
- Must be reliable, professional, and able to work independently
- Must be available to training sessions. They are imperative for your success
- Must be able to obtain a PTIN
