Seasonal NIGHT SHIFT WCG Cherry Production Bridge Operator 2025
Seasonal Classification: Seasonal Full time Exempt Hourly
Must be able to work 6-7 days a week from June through July.
Position available for day or night shift.
Job Summary:
Oversees and maintains operational control of bridge office and line operation for NIGHTS.
Essential Functions:
Starts and stops the line. Track Grower Changes
Receives reports from the stamper to monitor box weights
Sets the tub assignments for packing lines
Implements changes made from Sales office and production manager
Oversee the operation of line and works with mechanics to make sure it is properly functioning.
Must high degree of computer skills.
This positions requires the ability to speak, read and write in english. Spanish a plus but not required.
Must be able to multi-task and be organized.
Should be detail oriented with ability to analyze and present findings.
Must work well in a dynamic environment and be able to recommend and implement process improvements.
Work with packing supervisors for changes.
Maintain packed unit quality as directed.
Maintain records for labor costs and headcount daily.
Serve as a leadership team member.
Ensure that health and safety regulations are maintained.
Experience Requirements:
Typically requires 3 years of increasingly responsible production management experience.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Performance of the position requires working safely and may require working in a varied outdoor environment such as all weather conditions, all noise levels, hazardous conditions, and on the full range of outdoor work surfaces. The frequent use of protective clothing and/or all personal devices may be required. May require driving automobiles/vans/trucks. In addition, the incumbent needs to be able to communicate at all levels and operate computers and audio-visual equipment. As a result, it is felt the position could be not handled by people with severe difficulty with sight, hearing or speech.
