- Serve as a district representative at assigned home and/or off-campus athletic events.
- Assist with scheduling practices, games, officials, and facility use.
- Maintain accurate records for physicals, eligibility, rosters, participation, and compliance documentation.
- Track athletic department data and develop reports; maintain archives, record books, and the “All-State Wall.”
- Coordinate the team photography program and manage photo/media storage.
- Work with Human Resources to onboard and offboard coaching staff, ensuring all onboarding steps are complete prior to start.
- Support compliance with MHSAA, league, and district requirements.
- Performs other related tasks as assigned by the Director of Athletics.
- Coordinate event staffing and confirm game-day logistics with all stakeholders, including custodial, transportation, and food service.
- Serve as liaison to internal support departments such as finance, grounds, and facilities.
- Manage game contracts, official scheduling, and invoice processing in collaboration with the Finance Office.
- Maintain and update the athletic department website and social media platforms with schedules, announcements, and multimedia content.
- Distribute weekly schedules of athletic events to the Monroe community.
- Coordinate all aspects of sports information: game recaps, score reporting, and press/media notifications.
- Assist with the fulfillment and promotion of sponsorship elements.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, coaches, and community members.
- Support organization of athletic banquets, award ceremonies, and student/parent advisory councils.
- Manage calendars, appointments, mail, and phone inquiries for the Athletic Director.
- Maintain well-organized filing systems, order supplies, and track office inventory.
- Assist with time-sensitive and confidential communications.
- Collaborate with other school offices and assist with workload distribution when necessary.
- Knowledge of website management, social media platforms, and content creation.

- Must hold a valid motor vehicle operator’s license or have the ability to provide own transportation.
- Must successfully pass a background check as required by Michigan state law.
- Travel to district buildings and professional meetings as required.
- Must be available to work evenings and weekends in both indoor and outdoor environments.
