Boutique, Plaintiff's Securities Litigation Firm in NYC (Midtown East) is looking for an EXPERIENCED Securities Litigation Attorney to join their team as a "Senior Associate" (with a fast-track to make "Partner"). THIS IS AN "IN OFFICE" POSITION - it is NOT remote/hybrid; however, work-from-home one (1) day per week MAY be considered for very strong candidates.
We represent plaintiff-shareholders in Shareholder Derivative Actions primarily. 90% of our cases are in FEDERAL Court with the other 10% in DELAWARE and other US States. Should have lots of experience in Federal Court and handling Securities Litigation matters.
MUST HAVE 5+ YEARS EXPERIENCE OR WE WILL NOT CONTACT YOU (from 1 of the 3 categories below!)
3 TYPES OF CANDIDATES WE WILL CONSIDER:
(a) Big Law Candidates - candidates from ANY (litigation) practice area will be considered (you should not apply if you only have transactional experience).
(b) Those with Securities / Shareholder Derivative Action Litigation Experience
(c) Complex Commercial Litigation - those w/ Complex Commercial Litigation experience (NO securities experience) will be considered if you demonstrate a strong desire to want to learn securities litigation and have otherwise strong resumes. We will be most selective for category (c).
This is a great opportunity for SENIORITY because we need a "2nd in command" after the owner.
No "actual" billable hours, however, you are required to track your time b/c it is tied into your annual bonus.
SALARY: $175,000 to $275,000 (DOE and we'll be selective)
