Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to manage conflicts effectively, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols. The Security Officer will play a crucial role in loss prevention and surveillance operations.
Duties
- Monitor and patrol designated areas to ensure safety and security.
- Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, or emergencies and take appropriate action.
- Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to detect suspicious activities.
- Implement conflict management techniques to de-escalate potential issues.
- Enforce facility rules and regulations while providing excellent customer service.
- Assist in loss prevention strategies by identifying vulnerabilities and reporting them.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
- Provide first aid and CPR assistance when necessary, ensuring the well-being of individuals on-site.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during investigations or emergencies.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred.
- Certification in conflict management is highly desirable.
- CPR and First Aid certification are required or must be obtained within the first month of employment.
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance operations is advantageous.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert at all times.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A military background is a plus but not mandatory.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.50 per hour
