Job Description

As a Security Officer - Armed Bank Protection in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more .

As an armed patrol officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and communicating clearly with staff and visitors. This is an armed post, requiring you to carry and maintain proficiency with a sidearm. Pay Rate: $30.16 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the financial institution and its perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining a visible presence and monitoring for unusual behavior.
• Document and report any incidents, observations, or concerns according to site protocols.
• Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as needed to address security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must possess a valid Armed Guard Card or License as required by state or local regulations.
• Must have a valid California Armed Security Professional License.
• Must have an Armed Designation as required by the position.
• Must have completed Firearms Annual Inspection as required by company policy.
• Must acknowledge and comply with Firearms Acknowledgement requirements.
• Must complete Firearms Annual Requalification Training, which can be completed post hire.
• Must have at least 1 year of experience in an armed security-related, law enforcement, or military role.
• Must be able to carry an armed sidearm as required by the post.
• Must have a valid driver's license that meets AU Driver Policy requirements if driving is required for the position.
• Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Must participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
