Control access to restricted areas. Check for and report safety hazards, react to guest and employee incidents and accidents. Monitor guest and employee passage in and out of casino according to company policy and state laws. Interview patrons or employees when responding to and administering emergency treatment. Administer basic first aid treatment, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), and Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Maintain certifications in these areas. Complete necessary paperwork accurately and in a timely manner. Enter data into computer to maintain records. Answer guest’s questions regarding special events and promotions and display courtesy with both internal and external guests. Assures an environment which emphasizes cooperation, communication, and teamwork with all departments. Support compliance with all internal procedures and regulatory requirements, including those associated with underage and intoxicated guests. Supports current law and policy to provide a work environment free from illegal and discriminatory behavior. Complete job duties with minimal supervision, maintain acceptable attendance, and use appropriate judgment.
A high school diploma or GED equivalent. Upon employment, must be willing to obtain a valid gaming license in accordance with the Iowa Racing & Gaming Commissions regulations. Must pass property alcohol training. Must have a valid driver’s license and meet driving requirements established by the company’s vehicle insurance carrier.
