Overview
BCM Security is seeking dedicated and vigilant Security Officers to join our team in the Fort Lauderdale/Miami area.
Part-time Sat and Mon 9pm to 6am. Availability for Fill-in during the week preferred.
Must be proficient with Smartphone use for app reporting.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, providing assistance as necessary.
- Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Manage conflicts effectively, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate situations.
- Provide first aid and CPR when required, ensuring the well-being of individuals on-site.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during incidents or investigations.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or security breaches.
Experience
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred but not mandatory.
- Certification in CPR and first aid is a plus.
- Strong conflict management skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
