HIRING IMMEDIATELY
Sunstates Security is looking for Unarmed Security Officers for Part Time FLEX positions with various days and hours, in the Charlotte NC area. Starting pay of $18.75 hr - all with weekly pay! The FLEX Officer is an on-call officer position that covers posts as needed that are open due to call offs, staff shortages or client requested extra coverage. (Must have open Availability).
Key Responsibilities:
In addition to the requirements of regular security officers, the FLEX is expected to maintain detailed notes on all sites that they train at to provide seamless service to the clients when they must cover that post.
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Quality Standards:
Comes to work whether called in or scheduled in advance; is on time and completes shift assignments (including overtime, if assigned). Refusal to accept assignments may result in:
Failure to receive sufficient hours per week.
Removal from the FLEX Officer program.
- Has a neat, professional appearance and comes to work in complete and clean assigned uniform.
- Must not smoke on any assigned post
- Has a friendly and professional demeanor and provides quality customer service.
- Is a good communicator (both verbal and written) and is capable of handling typical and crisis situations both efficiently and effectively.
- Understands and successfully executes his/her post orders including enforcement of client and company policies, rules and regulations.
- Must report all concerns to management noted on sites assigned.
Qualifications:
- Good to excellent verbal and written skills.
- Able to provide and deliver quality customer service.
- Ability to make good decisions (judgement and common sense).
- Financial / mathematical aptitude.
- Ability to work a Flexible schedule and to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as requested (Open availability is a must!!)
- Reliable transportation to get to work site.
- Well-motivated, able to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Must maintain reliable means of communication to be contacted by management.

A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.
