Job Description

As a Security Professional - Armed Transport in New Port Richey, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As an armed patrol officer in a government setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, responding to incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service and communication. This armed post requires you to carry designated equipment and maintain a professional demeanor at all times. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity in every interaction.

Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings according to established protocols.
• Assist with access control and verify identification as required by site policies.
• Document incidents and daily activities in detailed reports.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must possess a valid Armed Security Guard Card or License as required by state or local regulations.
• Applicants must have at least one year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, or military roles.
• Applicants must have an Armed Designation as required by the post or jurisdiction.
• Applicants must be licensed or authorized to carry and use handcuffs while on duty.
• Applicants must be licensed or authorized to carry and use pepper spray while on duty.
• Applicants must be licensed or authorized to carry and use a sidearm while on duty.
• Applicants must be licensed or authorized to carry and use a Taser while on duty.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have five years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Applicants must participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
