We are seeking to hire both part time and full time compassionate and skilled Registered Behavior Therapists and Behavior Therapists to join our dedicated and growing team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality therapeutic services to individuals and groups, helping clients navigate their mental health challenges and achieve their personal goals. This role requires a deep understanding of various therapeutic techniques and a commitment to fostering a supportive environment for clients. The Behavior Technician/Registered Behavior Technician position at Horizon Bridge is a full-time or Part Time role, focused on providing one-on-one support to children on the autism spectrum, utilizing Applied Behavior Analysis therapy. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in children's lives. The position offers paid training as well as career advancement opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Engage children in fun activities to build their skills and social awareness
- Interact one-on-one with children on the autism spectrum, ages 2-14.
Utilize Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy techniques to support children's development.
- ,Document children's progress and responses to therapy.
- Implement Behavioral Therapy and Applied Behavior Analysis strategies to support clients with behavioral health issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and session notes in accordance with medical terminology standards.
- Provide conflict management support during sessions, helping clients navigate interpersonal challenges.
Requirements and Preferences:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must be 18 years old or older.
- Ability to pass a thorough criminal background check.
- Relevant experience working with children with special needs is preferred.
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
- Interest in preschool teaching, daycare, or early childhood education.
- Valid state licensure or certification as a RBT is preferred.
- Experience in behavioral health settings is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with special education principles is a plus for working with specific client groups.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry best practices.
Pay ranges for Level III providers- $17-$19 per hour, Level II providers - $18-$21 per hour, and is determined by applicable qualifications, degrees, and length of relevant experience.
