Job Description

AECOM is seeking a Senior Permitting Specialist to work in Fresno, CA. This position is also open to remote work. However, the client is in California and it's expected that this individual's working hours align with Pacific Time. This role presents a career-defining opportunity to manage permitting efforts on the nation's largest infrastructure project, which is redefining transportation in California.

SUMMARY:

The senior permitting specialist is responsible for managing regulatory permitting across multiple construction projects in California’s Central Valley, ensuring compliance with key federal and state environmental laws. This role covers everything from permitting strategy development and permit applications to construction compliance and reporting. This individual will also oversee compliance documentation, address regulatory inquiries, and support the procurement of compensatory mitigation.
