Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. As a Server, you will play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction by providing attentive service, taking orders accurately, and collaborating with kitchen staff to deliver high-quality food and beverages. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and introducing daily specials.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS.
- Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely manner while ensuring quality standards are met.
- Assist with cash handling duties, including processing payments through cash registers and handling tips.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders and address any special requests or dietary restrictions.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues that arise during their dining experience.
- Adhere to food handling and safety regulations to ensure a safe dining environment for guests.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Server or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Strong cash handling skills with basic math proficiency for accurate transaction processing.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment.
- Knowledge of culinary terms and food handling practices is advantageous.
- A positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and willingness to help colleagues as needed.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and perform tasks that require physical stamina.
