Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using hand written checks
- Deliver food and beverages to tables promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area throughout service.
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback with professionalism to ensure positive guest relations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of food.
- Process payments accurately using basic math skills for cash handling.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and standards in food handling practices.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred.
- Strong guest relations skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for patrons.
- Basic math skills for processing orders and payments accurately.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Must be able to work flexible day time hours
