As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable and memorable dining experience.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Present menus, take orders, and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining attention to detail.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Process payments accurately using the cash register or Aloha POS system.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding orders and special requests.
- Uphold all food safety and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with an ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours.
- Familiarity with kitchen operations and fine dining etiquette is preferred.
- Basic math skills for accurate billing and cash handling.
- Experience with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is advantageous but not required.
- Knowledge of culinary terms and food service practices will enhance guest interactions.
