Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests and taking their orders accurately.
- Operate the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for order entry and payment processing.
- Prepare food items according to safety and sanitation standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities, including processing payments and giving change.
- Assist in upselling menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and sanitizing surfaces.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations throughout all processes.
- Handle customer inquiries or complaints with professionalism and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred, particularly in quick service or fast food environments.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or Micros POS systems is a plus.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing.
- Knowledge of food handling practices, sanitation standards, and safety regulations.
- Culinary experience or kitchen experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
