Overview
We are a small family owned business with a close knit staff seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. You will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service, taking orders, and ensuring that all food and beverage needs are met promptly and efficiently. Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system.
- Provide menu recommendations and upsell additional items to enhance the dining experience.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining high standards of service.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns promptly.
- Adhere to food handling safety standards and maintain compliance with health regulations.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Server or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- A genuine passion for providing excellent hospitality and customer service.
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
