Duties
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, providing a friendly and attentive experience.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the restaurant's point-of-sale system.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation meets our standards.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, processing payments efficiently.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and sanitation standards at all times.
- Provide menu recommendations and upsell items to enhance guest experience.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
Skills
- Previous experience in a restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and fine dining service is an advantage.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create positive guest interactions.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with food safety practices and sanitation protocols is essential.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, for effective interaction with guests and team members.
- A team player attitude with the willingness to assist colleagues as needed.
