Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting cocktails, serving beverages, and ensuring that our guests enjoy their time at our establishment. Your ability to engage with customers and create a welcoming atmosphere will be key to your success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Engage with guests, providing excellent customer service and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Process orders efficiently using OpenTable or other point-of-sale systems.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and drinks.
- Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies, placing orders as necessary.
- Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for both staff and guests.
- Assist in training new bartenders or bar staff as needed.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in fine dining or nightclub settings, is preferred.
- Strong guest relations skills with the ability to create memorable experiences for patrons.
- Familiarity with basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately.
- Knowledge of culinary principles related to food pairing with beverages is a plus.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- A passion for mixology and willingness to learn new techniques and recipes.
