Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, preparing and serving beverages to guests
- Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to recipes and customer preferences
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for the purchase of alcohol
- Upsell and promote drink specials and menu items to increase sales
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and maintain accurate cash drawer
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage orders for customers
- Maintain knowledge of current drink trends, new products, and promotions
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a bartender or in a similar role
- Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Basic math skills for calculating bills, handling money, and making change accurately
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of retail math for inventory management and cost control purposes is a plus
- Experience in catering, brewing, restaurant, or banquet settings is preferred
