What You'll Do:
- Lead daily operations: Oversee the service shop, ensuring that customer needs are met efficiently.
- Coach and develop your team: Hire, train, and lead a team of technicians to provide top-quality repairs.
- Drive profitability: Help achieve service sales targets while maintaining the highest customer service standards.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment: Ensure compliance with safety protocols and keep the shop in top shape.
- Customer service excellence: Address customer concerns quickly and professionally, building strong, long-term relationships.
- Hands-on involvement: Step in as needed to assist with technician tasks or operate the service truck, ensuring smooth operations.
What You Bring:
- 3+ years of service management in heavy equipment or diesel repair.
- Leadership skills to inspire and manage a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and organizational skills to manage shop operations and customer service.
- A safety-first mindset and experience enforcing safety protocols.
- Flexible availability to keep the service department running smoothly during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
