About Us:
Four Twelve Roofing LLC is a fast-growing, Baltimore-based contractor specializing in high-quality exterior remodeling. Our projects span residential and commercial roofing, decking, siding, masonry, windows, doors, and more. We’re seeking a Service Estimator to join our team—someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys building customer relationships, and has a sharp eye for construction details and pricing accuracy.
The Role:
As a Service Estimator, you’ll be responsible for scoping, estimating, and creating proposals for a range of exterior construction services. You’ll work closely with customers and project managers, and depending on your experience, may also participate in business development and sales efforts. This is a great role for someone who is confident, technically strong, and enjoys being out in the field as much as working behind a desk.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct job site visits to inspect project conditions and collect necessary data
- Scope and estimate projects across multiple trades: roofing, siding, windows, doors, decking, concrete, masonry, gutters
- Prepare detailed and accurate proposals using company pricing templates and estimating tools
- Climb ladders to access roofs and building exteriors; we’ll train you on drone usage for inspections and photography
- Maintain consistent communication with customers throughout the sales cycle
- Attend networking events, industry meetings, and community events to help build your pipeline (preferred but not required)
- Collaborate with the production and sales teams to ensure smooth project handoffs
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in estimating for exterior construction (roofing, siding, windows, etc.)
- Strong understanding of construction materials, labor pricing, and building envelope systems
- Confident, organized, and able to produce proposals quickly and accurately
- Comfortable climbing ladders and working at heights
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—must be able to build trust with customers
- Self-motivated and eager to grow into a sales-producing role (ideal, not required)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Preferred Experience:
- Prior sales or client-facing experience in the construction industry
- Familiarity with CRM and estimating software. eg. Edge, Acculynx, Google Suite, Microsoft Products
- Drone experience (not required – we will train)
