Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in HVAC systems, property maintenance, and refrigeration. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using tools such as an ohmmeter and other diagnostic equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems, including boilers and refrigeration units.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and operational functions.
- Conduct repairs on various mechanical systems to ensure they operate efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used during repairs.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service requests.
- Provide exceptional customer service while interacting with clients during service visits.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Service Technician or in a similar mechanic role is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work on HVAC systems, property maintenance, and refrigeration equipment.
- Familiarity with using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand technical schematics related to mechanical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
