We are seeking a skilled Sewing Machine Operator to join our team in producing high-quality interior components for classic and vintage vehicles. This role involves setting up, maintaining, and operating industrial sewing machines to create precision-crafted seats, carpets, door panels, headliners, and more. You’ll be working with specialty materials like leather, vinyl, and custom automotive fabrics that require accuracy, care, and consistency.

Responsibilities
- Set up, calibrate and run industrial sewing machines
- Adjust machine settings (e.g., speed, tension) depending on materials and pattern requirements
- Sew upholstery and trim components for classic cars with precision and consistency
- Collaborate with the cutting and assembly teams to ensure smooth hand-offs between processes
- Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure ongoing performance
- Document production activity and any maintenance issues or defects
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts to streamline processes and maintain product quality
Requirements
- Previous experience as a sewing machine operator, ideally in upholstery, automotive, or furniture industries
- Ability to work with a variety of materials including leather, vinyl, foam-backed fabrics, and carpet
- Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
- Comfort reading patterns or production instructions
- Ability to lift rolls of fabric or seat components (up to ~30 lbs)
- Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to vintage car interior specifications
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
