Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Builder to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various building techniques and be proficient in all carpentry related fields. This role involves working on shed projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. The Builder will be paid by a percentage per storage shed, mostly building structures solo, so there is an opportunity to make more money depending on the speed and skill level. Overtime will be optional in most cases.
Responsibilities
- Perform structure framing and flooring installation ensuring precise measurements and quality finishes.
- Operate hand tools safely and effectively for various construction tasks.
- Hang doors accurately, ensuring proper alignment and functionality.
- Apply caulking in appropriate areas to seal gaps and improve insulation.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction or a related field is essential.
- Proficiency in framing, flooring installation, hand tools operation, and door hanging is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks throughout the day.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction environments.
- Valid Driver’s License
