Job Summary:
As a Shift Lead at Marco’s Pizza, you’ll be the go-to person for leading a team during your shift. You’ll ensure the smooth operation of the store, maintain high customer service standards, and support the team to meet performance goals. This is a great step toward management if you're passionate about leadership and pizza!
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and motivate team members during scheduled shifts
- Ensure all opening, closing, and operational procedures are followed
- Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve guest concerns promptly
- Maintain food quality, safety, and cleanliness standards
- Manage cash handling, deposits, and shift documentation accurately
- Assist in training new team members and providing on-the-job coaching
- Support inventory control and store presentation
- Step in to perform any in-store duties (e.g. making pizzas, taking orders, deliveries) as needed
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in food service or customer service required
- Leadership experience preferred (team lead, supervisor, etc.)
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Strong communication and decision-making skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable, punctual, and a positive team player
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license (if delivering)
