Uptown Cheapskate Dublin is a growing new business that is looking to on-board an energetic leader. Uptown Cheapskate is a buy, sell, trade fashion store for young adults. We offer a change of pace from traditional fashion retail by adding the buying element into the usual retail setting. The pace is fun, fast and upbeat. You MUST be available to work during the school year, not just on breaks.
Responsibilities will include:
- Working closely with the store management team to prioritize resources and tasks for associates.
- Will perform opening and closing responsibilities (based on work schedule as needed) to include start up and balancing of registers, resolving credit card discrepancies as needed, and sending daily summary communication.
- Providing excellent customer service through brand and style knowledge
- Participate in visual merchandising of store and overall appearance
- Participate in buying gently used brand name clothing, accessories and shoes from customers
- Process, tag, and continuously replenish merchandise on the floor.
- Opening and closing registers.
- Delegating tasks to sales associates.
- Supervising opening and closing tasks.
