The Shift Lead (Supervisor) is a vital member of the operations team at JÜGO WellnessBar. They are leaders on the floor and behind the juice bar, setting the prime example of outstanding service and holding their co-workers to the same high standards. The role focuses on delivering the JÜGO WellnessBar experience through excellent customer service, human connection, and consistently high-quality products. The Assistant Lead works closely with managers to maintain the company's integrity and profitability, ensuring adherence to all systems and policies.
Qualifications:
- Able to operate all food preparation equipment and tools efficiently, specifically blenders, juicers, espresso machines, toasters, and other onsite equipment.
- Available to work a minimum of 15 hours/week and a minimum of 4 days.
- Capable of spending at least 90% of working time standing.
- Ability to walk, bend, kneel, handle, reach with arms and hands, squat, crawl, climb, stoop, and perform other physical activities.
- Capable of lifting up to 60 pounds as needed.
- Comfortable working occasionally in walk-in coolers and freezers.
- Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Overall operational knowledge.
- Safety and sanitation fundamentals.
- Some computer skills, including Gmail, Google Drive, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word.
- Effective communication skills.
- Guest reconciliation and relations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy, and physically demanding environment.

Operational Responsibilities:
- Monitor the company’s integrity and maintain profitability.

- Act as the responsible person in the absence of a manager.
- Engage actively with the local community, vendors, neighboring storefront employees, and local community events.

Leadership Responsibilities:
- Motivate and evaluate all Guest Service Team Members.
- Train Guest Service Team Members

- Minimize turnover by addressing Associate and Manager issues.

- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws, regulations, and guidelines.

Customer Relations and Safety:
- Stay updated on all company communications.

- Promote positive guest relations and handle complaints professionally and timely.
- Inspect serving, food receiving, preparation, production, and storage areas to ensure health and safety compliance.
- Correct unsafe practices or conditions.
- Maintain store cleanliness and organization, both interior and exterior.
Team Management and Conflict Resolution:
- Report sensitive Associate relation issues to GM.
- Foster high morale, motivation, and teamwork in the store.
- Address team conflicts professionally and seek positive resolutions.
- Set a great example through attitude, involvement, and positive influence.
- Establish an environment that prohibits harassment or discrimination.
Cost Management & Profitability:
- Maintain and control store assets.
- Monitor on-hand inventory for waste and theft.
- Ensure adequate inventory levels to meet guest needs.
- Communicate issues with GM.
- Ensure compliance with cash control policies.
- Drive positive labor results by proactive control and reacting to business trends.
- Follow all policies, procedures, recipes, health codes, and safety regulations.
Leadership and Training:
- Identify problems and suggest solutions in accordance with quality operating standards.
- Clearly communicate company processes and ensure adherence through training and coaching.
- Exemplify the desired culture and philosophies of the organization.
- Follow employee handbook guidelines and checklists.
- Lead and direct through strong influence rather than strong directive.
- Ensure all employees understand JÜGO WellnessBar culture, quality standards, product, operating systems, and procedures.
- Support the introduction of new products, procedures, marketing initiatives, training development, equipment, and corporate programs.
Position Description:

- Responsibilities include providing guidance, training, and support to team members.
- The position does not involve formal supervisory duties such as performance evaluations or disciplinary actions.
- The role typically acts in a supportive or advisory capacity to ensure smooth operations.
- Assists in the implementation of policies and procedures.
Reporting Structure:
- Reports directly to the General Manager (GM) and Assistant General Manager (AGM).
Benefits:
- Compensation: $18 hourly + Tips
- Average Earnings: Approximately $21 per hour, including tips
