Summary
A Shipping Coordinator Job is available in Tacoma, WA, You will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of shipping and logistics. Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the shipping process, including scheduling, tracking, and documentation.
- Communicate with carriers to arrange transportation and negotiate shipping rates.
- Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with the production and inventory teams to prioritize shipments and optimize workflows.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
- Prepare and maintain shipping records, reports, and documentation.
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to shipments in a timely manner.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
- Proven experience in shipping, logistics, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and shipping software.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
