Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the shipping and receiving processes, ensuring that all goods are accurately tracked and accounted for. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations, including order fulfillment, packaging, and inventory management. You will play a crucial role in maintaining efficient warehouse distribution and supporting our e-commerce operations.
Duties
- Process incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy in documentation and inventory records.
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and manage stock.
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners to load and unload goods safely.
- Pick and pack orders according to specifications, ensuring quality control throughout the process.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse environment.
- Assist with stocking shelves and organizing products for efficient retrieval.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily shipping and receiving goals.
- Perform basic math calculations to verify quantities and ensure accurate order fulfillment.
- Utilize MRP systems as needed for inventory management.
Requirements
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred, particularly in shipping & receiving roles.
- Familiarity with warehouse distribution processes and order picking techniques.
- Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and e-commerce platforms.
- Experience with packaging materials and methods for safe shipment of goods.
- Ability to operate various equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, and pallet jacks.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking and order verification.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $23.25 - $28.00 per hour
